Here’s my review again on publication day!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Piano Teacher of Montparnasse by Heather Morris

Just finished my ARC of The Piano Teacher of Montparnasse by Heather Morris and it’s a 5 stars from me.

Another beautifully written story, inspired by the true story of a piano teacher and her family who became part of the Resistance during the Second World War, risking their lives to fight the Germans and help liberate France. They also saved the life of a young Jewish girl by taking her into their family and protecting her from the danger surrounding her.

As always, Heather Morris has such a beautiful way of bringing history to life. She writes with so much care and grace that you can’t help but become attached to the characters and feel completely transported back to the time they are living in.

Knowing that this story is rooted in real people and real events makes it all the more moving.

It’s a story of hope, courage, love and sacrifice, and one that really stayed with me.

I absolutely loved it. Definitely one that will stay with me.

And thank you so much to @netgalley and @firefinchbooks for allowing me to read and review before the publication date of 22nd October 2026.
